Press Shia – Ayatollah Qablan said, “Today, by violating their covenants, the terrorists have proved that they have become the enemies of humanity and everyone must be strong and stand against terrorists and destroy them.”

Press Shia – Ayatollah Abdul-Amir Qablan, the vice-president of the Supreme Islamic Shi’ite Council of Lebanon, strongly condemned the terrorist attack on buses carrying evacuated residents of Takfiri terrorist-besieged areas Shi’ah-majority towns of Kefraya and al-Fu’ah in Syria’s Idlib Province on Saturday, killing at least 126 people, including 68 children.

On Saturday, a bomber targeted the buses as they waited in the militant-held al-Rashidin district on the outskirts of Aleppo to cross into government-controlled territory.

The death toll may rise further as hundreds more were injured in the blast.

The Lebanese Shi’ah cleric described the attacks as a “brutal and nefarious crime” which was perpetrated by the haters of the innocent and oppressed people and stressed that such a crime was against all human, moral and religious values.

He added that when the terrorists realized that they had failed to displace the Shi’ahs of Kefraya and al-Fu’ah, they decided to carry out a terrorist act against them.

In another part of his statement, Ayatollah Qablan called on all Muslims, international officials and all the people of conscience to condemn this massacre, saying it reveals that the perpetrators and those who support them have abandoned their religion and violated all conventions and customs and have abrogated all covenants and conventions.

He added that the perpetrators of this crime and the sponsors of terrorism must be prosecuted.

Ayatollah Qablan said, “Today, by violating their covenants, the terrorists have proved that they have become the enemies of humanity and everyone must be strong and stand against terrorists and destroy them.”
