TEHRAN, May 10 (Press Shia Agency) – Members of the Iranian Parliament have given the nod to a bill on maritime transport agreement between the governments of Iran and South Korea.

The draft agreement between Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic of Korea went on the agenda of the Parliament’s open session on Wednesday and was adopted by MPs.

Under the terms of the single article, principles 77 and 139 of the Iranian Constitution need to be observed in implementation of the agreement and its subsequent amendments.

The bill was endorsed with 136 votes in favor, seven votes against and two abstentions among the 201 MPs present at the session.
