On the other hand, the CNE is planning to hold a constitutional fair nationwide next Sunday, so as to train Venezuelans on how to vote for future ANC members.
According to Lucena, 1,113 voting machines will be set off, even though could be more, for voters to be acquainted with the system and practice how to vote with numbers in these elections, where 537 of the 545 members of the Constituent Assembly will be elected.
Concerning the electoral campaign starting off yesterday and will end coming July 27, he said that candidates have up to three minutes a day on television, as well as one page per day in tabloid newspapers and half a page in standard format.
He also reported that CNE passed the non-use of indelible ink, as the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) stated that it would not provide the elections with this ink.
He assured that the biometric authentication, made with voters fingerprints, is more than a guarantee to avoid double suffrage, and guarantee the principle: ‘One Voter, One vote’.
