TEHRAN, Jul. 20 (Press Shia Agency) – The 12th round of human rights dialogues between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan kicked off Wednesday in Tokyo, Japan.
The talks are scheduled to be held over two days.
Delegations of the two countries are headed by the Directorate General for Human Rights and Women Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran and Deputy Director General for Foreign Policy of the Foreign Ministry of Japan.
During the talks, the Iranian and Japanese delegations, in addition to consulting and advising on bilateral relations, also examine cooperation of two countries in international human rights constituencies.
The 11th round of these talks was held two years earlier when the two sides discussed human rights issues and cooperation with the United Nations.
