TEHRAN (Press Shia) – Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari and Leader of Iraq’s National Alliance Ammar al-Hakim met in Baghdad on Monday for political talks.

During a working breakfast this morning, attended by some members of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Jaberi Ansari and Hakim discussed the latest regional developments and the issues concerning Iraq.

Hakim is also the leader of Iraq’s Islamic Supreme Council.

Jaberi Ansari, who travelled to Iraq on Saturday for a new round of joint political commission meetings, has already met with Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari and the Arab country’s Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jabouri.
