TEHRAN (Press Shia) – It is still not clear whether Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will travel to the US for the United Nations General Assembly, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Saturday.

Speaking to Press Shia, Zarif said Iran has not made the final decision on the “level of the delegation” representing Iran in the 72nd regular session of the UN General Assembly in September.

“Iran, as always, will be attending the (UNGA) meeting, but a decision about the level of Iran’s presence has not been made so far,” he explained.

The UNGA 72 will convene at the UN headquarters in New York in September.

The general debate would revolve around ‘Focusing on People: Striving for Peace and a Decent Life for All on a Sustainable Planet’.
