TEHRAN, Sep. 08 (Press Shia Agency) – Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahhedi Kermani, the interim leader of Tehran Friday prayers, warned the nation about the threats posed by the US.
“What happened in Andalusia is a lesson for Muslims,” said Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahhedi Kermani, the interim leader of Tehran Friday prayers, warning the prayers of infiltration of US in Iran.
The cleric then touched upon, the new cabinet of President Rouhani and the formation of new city and villages councils across Iran after the May election and advised the new elected members to keep their campaign promises.
“Human beings are horrified by these crimes that burn the children alive, bar humanitarian reliefs, and the world media which censors the crimes to prevent the world from seeing these crimes,” highlighted the leader of this week’s prayers referring to the ethnic cleansing of Rohingya Muslims by the Burmese government.
“The deadly silence of the international community who claim to be defending human rights is unbelievable,” asserted the cleric, “they say that they are condemning the crimes, but will the issue get solved by just paying a lip service of condemnation?”
Saying that the tying hope to the international community is futile, the cleric demanded the Muslims of the world to react to these crimes. He also lashed out at the proposal offered by the Turkish government to let the borders of Bangladesh be opened to the refuge-seekers.
He then referred to a proposal offered by Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi who asked the Muslim ministers of the Islam world to convene and find a solution for the crisis.
Touching upon the latest remarks made by American officials asking for inspection of Iran’s military sites, he described the US as a ‘cheeky wrong-doer’.
