TEHRAN, Nov. 16 (Press Shia) –Deputy Head of Press Bureau of State Council of China told Iranian media delegation visiting Beijing that the developing countries will overtake western media influence over society.
“Iran-China relations should expand beyond areas of economy and politics and more cooperation should be set up on areas of culture, media, cinema, and education,” said Mr. Ming the Deputy Head of Press Bureau of State Council of the People’s Republic of China on Thursday.
The Chinese official made the remarks while meeting with Iranian media delegation visiting Chinese capital city of Beijing.
“We no longer need the western media and their influence and monopoly over the society will soon fade away,” asserted the Chinese official.
Saying that the influence of developing countries like Iran and China is growing, Mr. Ming urged for joint endeavors in the two areas of social media and information websites.
“Media cooperation between Iran and China can have brighter future,” sid the Chinese official pointing to the 19th Congress of Communist Party for hich journalists from around the world, including Iran, were invited to China.
In a bid to develop media cooperation between the two countries, the Iranian delegation arrived in Chinese capital city of Beijing on Monday.
