TEHRAN, Dec. 09 (Press Shia Agency) – Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif and Boris Johnson, the British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, met on Saturday in Tehran.
The two top diplomats held the meeting at the venue of the Iranian Foreign Ministry HQ in Tehran.
The status of bilateral relations in areas of economic cooperation, trade, regional issues, and international developments, were discussed by the two officials.
Prior to arriving in Tehran, Johnson had announced putting Iranian-British relations on new footing as an objective of the visit.
He is making his first visit to Tehran as foreign secretary.
