Press Shia Agency – The head of the National Iraqi Alliance said the world must not remain silent in the face of the violation of the rights of the Palestinian people.

Press Shia Agency – According to Press Shia Agency News Agency, the head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, issued a message in response to the recent speech by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, on the recognition of Jerusalem al-Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime and described the decision as “irritating and dangerous act.”

The Iraqi scholar said, “Many countries have condemned occupation of the Zionist regime,” and added, “By transferring its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds, the United States is compromising the security and stability of the countries of the region.”

“The United States must not stand against the Arab, Islamic and Palestinian nations,” the head of the Iraqi National Alliance stated.

Hujjat al-Islam al-Hakim added that the supporters and allies of Palestine must strongly condemn the decision of the United States government and support the occupied country and its oppressed people.

During his Wednesday speech at the White House, Trump officially recognized the disputed city of Jerusalem al-Quds as the Zionist regime’s capital and announced that the administration would begin the process of moving the American embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds.

Trump also announced that Vice President Mike Pence will travel to the Middle East in the coming days “to reaffirm our commitment to work with partners throughout the Middle East to defeat radicalism.”

The decision sparked international condemnation and protests from government authorities to institutes and communities.
