TEHRAN, Nov. 06 (Press Shia) – Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Seyyed Kazem Sajjadi has said on Sunday that Armenia will release four jailed Iranians on November 9.
Sajjadi underlined that Iran’s Embassy in Yerevan held talks with concerned Armenian officials to make possible the transfer that leads to completion of the convicts’ prison terms in Iran.
The Iranian convicts will be delivered to Iranian border guards November 9, he noted on Sunday.
The extradition was made possible through investigations and follow-ups made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan, and the cooperation of Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan.
Since the beginning of the year, this is the second group of Iranian prisoners transferred to Iran, he added.
