TEHRAN, Dec. 22 (Press Shia) – Iran’s Parliamentary Director General for International Affairs said on Friday that the Houthi missile attacks aimed at Riyadh has nothing to do with Iran, calling the US claims ‘all lies.’

Amir Abdollahian made the remarks during a meeting with Khalil Hamdan, Political Director of Lebanon’s Amal Movement, in which the two sides exchanged their views on the recent developments in the Middle East.

At the start of the meeting Khalil Hamdan said that Amal Movement was founded by the distinguished political figures such as Dr. Mostafa Chamran and Imam Musa Sadr with the aim of spreading  justice and culture of resistance.

Hamdan reminded “the unwise decision of US President Donald J. Trump to relocate the US Embassy to Al-Quds is currently considered as the most important development of Islamic community.”

He called on all leaders in the Islamic world to establish unity and amity with one another in order to thwart malicious objectives of the US in recognition of Al-Quds as the capital of Israeli regime.

Further, Amir Abdullahian paid tribute to Imam Musa Sadr and expressed his special thanks to the wisely leadership of Lebanese Resistance Movement Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah for his role in the stability in Lebanon.

Regarding the baseless remarks by US Ambassador to UN, Amir-Abdollahian said “instead of being held responsible for selling weapons of mass destructions to Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, the united States is trying to divert public opinion by Al-Quds case.”

In the end, Amir Abdullahian rejected US claims accusing Iran of supplying missiles to Yemenis saying “ by these false accusation, the US is trying to put Iran defensive missile program on the agenda, though they should know that Iran’s program is in accordance with international regulations, therefore, it is non-negotiable.”
