TEHRAN (Press Shia Agency) – Fifteen civilians lost their lives as Saudi warplanes bombarded residential buildings in a district in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a.

On Monday, Saudi fighter jets pounded the Moein district in Sana’a, killing fifteen people and injuring nine others, according to a report by Arabic-language al-Masirah television network.

The report added that the Saudi military planes raided the areas five times, leaving people under the rubble of the collapsed buildings.

In a separate development, the kingdom’s warplanes targeted parts of Hadidah province, killing eight people.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for more than two and half years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, an ally of Riyadh.

Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
