TEHRAN (Press Shia Agency) – Saudi warplanes bombed residential areas in the Taiz and Hajjah provinces of Yemen, killing at least 21 civilians.

The Saudi air raids, which targeted the area of Dimnat Khadir in the southwestern province of Taiz, left 15 people, all members of the same family, dead, while six others lost their lives in similar attacks in the Ram area of Mostaba district in Hajjah, Saba news agency reported.

Women and kids were among the dead. Large groups of the civilians were also injured during the raids.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for over three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
