TEHRAN, May. 08 (Press Shia Agency) – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Seyed Abbas Araghchi said that Iran is ready to take necessary decision on US withdrawal from JCPOA based on the interests of Iranian nation.
“Iran has monitored the stances undertaken by all sides, European and American, and will make the proper decision based on national interests and the deserved rights of the Iranian nation,” said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.
The Iranian diplomat made the remarks while meeting with the Secretary General of the European Union External Action Service (EEAS) Helga Schmid.
According to European External Action Service (EEAS) website, “EU/E3 consultations with Iran on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) took place in Brussels on 8 May 2018.”
“The meeting was chaired by EEAS Secretary General Helga Schmid and attended by E3 countries (France, Germany, and United Kingdom) at the level of Political Directors. The Iranian delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araghchi.”
“The EU/E3 used this opportunity to reiterate their support to the continued full and effective implementation of the JCPOA by all sides.”
