Press Shia Agency – Hujjat al-Islam al-Qubanchi called the House of Saud a “terrorist regime” because of its destruction of the burial places of the Infallible Imams, animosity to the Ahlul-Bayt and its arrest and execution of innocent and believing people.
Press Shia Agency – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf’s al-Fatimiyah al-Kubra Husayniyah, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Sadruddin al-Qubanchi expressed hope for the formation of a wholesome government in Iraq and said, “The arrival of a new prime minister [Adil Abdul-Mahdi] is a great opportunity to achieve political victory and national cohesion.”
The Iraqi Shi’ah scholar added that rising oil prices and the return of billions of dinars from the era of Saddam Husayn’s former dictatorship are considered factors contributing to the achievement of political victory. The Iraqi people feel more hopeful about the implementation of the new prime minister’s plans.
He said, “The start of the walk from the governorates of Basrah and Nineveh in Iraq and from Mashhad, Iran and from Pakistan is promising the beginning of another miracle in the Arba’in al-Husayn pilgrimage. Believers from different countries, especially the Iraqi people, are ready to hold the most magnificent commemoration.”
Referring to the report of the British human rights organizations in regard to the suicide of 4,500 young people in the United Kingdom, Hujjat al-Islam al-Qubanchi said, “We advise them to make use of religious scholars and to wear hijab, observe prayer and cleanliness.”
His Eminence described the Saudi regime as a terrorist state and said, “The sending of 500 suicide bombers to Iraq, destroying the burial places of the Infallible Imams, animosity to the Ahlul-Bayt, killing believers, arresting and assassinating Jamal Khashoqji and the execution of Hasan Farhan al-Maliki for criticizing the Umayyad dynasty is a clear indication of the terrorism of the Saudi government.”
He welcomed the visit of Muhammad al-Halbousi, the speaker of the Iraqi parliament, to Turkey and appreciated him for raising the issue of the country’s water problems and called on local governments to solve the problems of water scarcity before the outbreak of another crisis in the country.
Hujjat al-Islam al-Qubanchi criticized the employment than 150,000 foreign workers in Basrah governorate and called for the local government to give importance to the employment of the local youth.
