TEHRAN (Press Shia) – Iranian Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi said the AJA University of Command and Staff is prepared to educate students from other countries.
“In terms of hardware, scientific, content and experience-based infrastructure, and (presence of qualified) professors, the university has the capacity to admit foreign students,” Major General Mousavi said on Tuesday.
There are few countries possessing these capabilities and experiences like those Iran gained during the Sacred Defense (the Iraqi imposed war in the 1980s), he stated.
Everything a student needs in order to improve his capabilities and experience in the field of military and decision-making exists in the university, the commander said.
Of course, admission of foreign students depends on various issues, including the bilateral relations between the Islamic Republic and the countries whose nationals apply for studying at the university, he went on to say.
AJA University of Command and Staff, formerly named War University, is the staff college of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, located in Tehran.
