TEHRAN, Dec. 31 (Press Shia) – Head of Technical and Vocational University (TVU) Masoud Shafie announced the launching of joint short-term courses of technician training at the undergraduate level with Germany.
Pointing to the scientific interactions with other international foreign countries, Shafie said TVU has visited Iraq, Kurdistan and Germany and has held meetings with other European countries, which have come to Iran by means of Iran’s Ministry of Science.
He underlined TVU has also held talks with France and is up to launch courses in cooperation with Canada.
Since TVU has no higher education level, Shafie said, we have held short-term courses at undergraduate level with Germany to pilot training technicians wwhich means serving for foreign companies which offer their products in Iran.
The Germans welcomed the idea; several recent signed MoUs and delegation exchanges between the two countries have introduced technical and vocational courses, he added.
