Rasa – A member of the Board of Experts criticized the marginalization of the presence of ‎the Islamic Resistance Forces to help flood victims and stressed that the presence of the ‎Islamic Resistance Forces were in line with an agreement between Iran and Iraq.‎

‎‎RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi, the ‎‎representative of the people of Khuzestan province in the Assembly of Experts, ‎criticized the ‎marginalization of the arrival of the Islamic Resistance Forces to help the flood victims in ‎Iran and emphasized, “No military force had entered Iran but rather the Popular Mobilization ‎Forces, the Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba and the Islamic Resistance of Iraq have been ‎present in the form of relief and service forces to the Iranian people, the Red Crescent and ‎the popular camps in the country.”‎

The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom ‎added that the presence of the ‎Islamic Resistance Forces was in the framework of humanitarian law and the four treaties of ‎the Geneva Conventions and isn’t only legitimate internationally in the face of floods and ‎natural disasters but also in times of wars. ‎

‎“Any restrictions and barriers to the prevention of humanitarian relief is considered as a crime ‎against humanity,” he added.‎

Ayatollah Ka’bi ‎said that the Islamic Resistance Forces‎are serving the flood victims in the ‎form of Husayni camps and said, “As the Husayni mawkibs (organizations) ‎were established ‎in Iran, the Islamic Resistance Forces‎also established Husayni mawkibs ‎and are assisting the ‎flood victims.”‎

His Eminence continued, “The presence of the Islamic Resistance Forces‎in the country is in ‎the form of agreements between the two countries of Iran and Iraq and the proof of this is ‎that the Iraqi people stand alongside the Iranian people. The Iraqi Islamic Resistance Forces ‎‎entered Iran for a humanitarian cause under the title of ‘Beautiful Response’ and they said ‎‎‘Iran didn’t leave us when we were under fire and we will not abandon Iran during the flood.’”‎

He stated that the Islamic Resistance Forces ‎were present in the provinces of Lorestan, ‎Golestan and Khuzestan to serve the people said that most of the Islamic Resistance Forces ‎‎were in the form of Husayni convoys and the relief of the dear Iraqi brothers is an extension ‎of Arba’in al-Husayn. ‎

Ayatollah Ka’bi‎ described the presence of the popular forces of the country and the Islamic ‎Resistance Forces ‎as a manoeuvre of Husayni service and said, “The presence of Iraqi ‎Islamic Resistance Forces proves the brotherhood and humanity of the two nations of Iran ‎and Iraq.”‎
