Rasa –‎ The director of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran ‎said, “We have repeatedly declared to ‎various officials that we can establish a global cultural, ‎academic and pilgrimage network on ‎behalf of al-Mustafa International University ‎the Islamic ‎Seminaries.”‎

RNA – Speaking on Sahand Provincial Television Network in Tabriz, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi ‎spoke about the holding of a conference on the jurisprudence of tourism in Tabriz ‎said that ‎the northwestern Iranian city has a large capacity for tourism on the lines of Iranian and ‎Islamic logic and said, “The capacities for tourism in Iran and the region is high and are ‎unmatched but unfortunately the proper use of these capacities isn’t taken.”‎

The director of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran added that holding a conference on the ‎jurisprudence of tourism is a long step towards the development of tourism and said, ‎‎“Naturally, we must expand tourism within Islamic and Iranian standards and this conference ‎will be held in the same direction.”‎

He stated that the conference on the jurisprudence of tourism ‎is being held by al-Mustafa ‎International University in cooperation with various institutions and said, “As an international ‎academic institution, al-Mustafa International University has more than 50,000 graduates ‎from 130 countries and by using this capacity, we have organized this conference.”‎

Ayatollah Arafi stated, “If we activate our country’s unlimited capacities for tourism, we ‎certainly don’t need to export oil and the profits received from it. Without doubt, the income ‎received from tourism can be at the top of our country’s revenues but unfortunately we are ‎far from realizing this.”‎

The member of the board of trustees of al-Mustafa International University said, “We have ‎repeatedly declared to various officials that we can establish a global cultural, academic and ‎pilgrimage network on behalf of al-Mustafa International University ‎the Islamic Seminaries. ‎By organizing this conference on the jurisprudence of tourism, it’s possible to promote the ‎capacities for tourism in Iran to the world, and at the same time introduce halal tourism as a ‎model for them.”‎

He added, “We are designing various fields in the Islamic Seminaries, with about 300 ‎disciplines and trends under review and redevelopment. One of the important duties of the ‎Islamic Seminaries is to answer questions that are appropriate to the world today.”‎

Emphasizing that Islamic tourism is not limited to pilgrimage, Ayatollah Arafi ‎said, “In Islam, ‎all historical, cultural and other aspects of tourism are considered with a more focused and ‎kindly approach and all aspects are considered in regard to halal tourism.”‎
