The representative of Ayatollah Sistani, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ahmad Safi, criticized the expansion of the sense of emptiness among the youth and called for finding a remedy for this malady.
According to the correspondent of Rasa News Agency in Najaf Ashraf, the representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani and the custodian of Imam Hussain (AS) holy shrine, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ahmad Safi, delivering the sermons of this week Friday prayer in Fatima Kubra Hussainia, said, “A transmissible malady, having caused several individual and societal troubles, is the sense of emptiness.”
He added, “Emptiness is the state of physical or spiritual lethargy. In such a condition, the man has the feeling of being lost; this malady has some different causes and remedies. By emptiness here, the lack of purpose or straying off the right course is meant.”
The representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani, saying that the youth complain about the sense of emptiness, expressed, “The related organisations should become acquainted with their responsibilities concerning those people feeling empty.”
