The Friday prayer leader of Baghdad noted, “The Al Khalifah regime’s support for the attack ‎by the Zionist regime on the Popular Mobilization Forces ‎‎proved the falsehood of the pro-‎slogans of this dynasty.” ‎

According to Rasa News Agency’s correspondent in Najaf, Ayatollah Sayyid Yasin al-‎Musawi, the Friday prayer leader of Baghdad, said, “In the 1980s, Arab countries launched a ‎war against Iran under the pretext of supporting Iraq as the world’s eastern gateway of the ‎Arab world. The question that arises is where is Iraq now? Why do some Arab countries ‎support the Zionist attacks on this country? Assuming that these countries claim that Iran is ‎the enemy of the Arab countries, are the Popular Mobilization Forces also their enemies?”‎

The Iraqi religious scholar said, “The Popular Mobilization Forces ‎and the Iraqi people are ‎authentic Arabs and those who have posed as Arabs and conspired against this country must ‎seek their Arab origins or else how can one claim to be Arab and support the Zionist ‎regime’s attacks on Iraq?” ‎

Ayatollah al-Musawi‎ said, “The Al Khalifah regime’s support for the attack by the Zionist ‎regime on the Popular ‎Mobilization Forces ‎‎proved the falsehood of the pro-slogans of this ‎dynasty and they are not [true] Arabs at all but British colonialists empowered them to ‎dominate over the oppressed Bahraini people. Where is the Arab slogan of ‘help your ‎brother, whether he is an oppressor or is oppressed’ when Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign ‎Affairs [Khalid ibn Ahmad Al Khalifah] declared that the Zionist regime attack on Iraq was ‎made in defence of the Zionist regime?”‎

It should be noted that Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs ‎defended Israel over its August ‎‎25th attacks on the positions of the Popular Mobilization Forces near the Syrian border‎, ‎saying, “One who strikes and destroys the piles of their ammunition is not to blame. That is ‎self-defence.”‎
