Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi said that the ideals of the Islamic Revolution must be upheld and said, ‎‎“The mission of al-Mustafa International University in the Second Phase of the Islamic ‎Revolution is to spread the discourse of the Islamic Revolution.”‎

RNA – Speaking at a ceremony marking the beginning of the new academic year at al-‎Mustafa International University in the auditorium of the university’s Imam Khomeyni ‎Specialized University campus in Qom, Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Ali Abbasi said, “The basis of the ‎movement of al-Mustafa International University is based on the teachings of pure Islam and ‎the thought of the two leaders of the Islamic Revolution [Imams Khomeyni and Khamenei].”‎

The dean of al-Mustafa International University said that we must protect the blood of the ‎martyrs and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, and said, “al-Mustafa International ‎University is committed to promoting the liberating discourse of the Islamic Revolution, ‎which is the discourse of justice, spirituality and rationality in the world.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi said that Ayatollah Khamenei’s statement on the Second Phase of the ‎Islamic Revolution has created new missions and duties for al-Mustafa International ‎University and noted, “The objective of the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution was to ‎create a new Islamic civilization based on Islamic teachings.”‎

His Eminence said that tirelessness and striving are necessary for the continuation of the ‎movement of al-Mustafa International University and added, “All educational and research ‎programs must emphasize the preservation of the religious identity of al-Mustafa ‎International University.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi said saving and avoiding excessive spending was an inevitable ‎necessity and stated, “In al-Mustafa International University’s educational transformation ‎plan, special attention was paid to ethics and spirituality as a means of distinguishing the ‎seminary from other academic centres.”‎
