TEHRAN, Jan. 18 (Press Shia Agency) – Tehran’s police has said it has arrested the owner of the quadcopter which was trespassing no-fly zone in Tehran earlier this week.

The trespassing fueled speculations on January 16 evening when an air defense base in the vicinity of Enghelab Square fired staccato of shootings to ward off the flying object later identified as a quadcopter.

On the latest developments, police told reporters that it arrested the owner of the quadcopter which had been recording an advertising track for a private company.

Police added that any company seeking to record bird-view advertisement films in Tehran’s airspace would require necessary permissions from the authorities.
