TEHRAN (Press Shia) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held separate meetings with his Serbian counterpart, Ivica Dacic, and Afghan National Security Adviser Hamdullah Mohib in the Azeri capital of Baku.
The meetings were held on the sidelines of a ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Baku on Wednesday.
During his talks with Dacic, Zarif discussed major issues surrounding Iran-Serbia bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments.
In the other meeting, Zarif and Mohib exchanged views on a range of topics, including the latest developments in Afghanistan.
The preparatory senior officials meeting of the upcoming NAM summit was held on October 21-22 and the two-day preparatory ministerial meeting began on Wednesday.
Host Azerbaijan will formally take over the chairmanship of NAM for the next three years at the Baku Summit.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will start his official visit to Azerbaijan on Thursday to participate in the 18th NAM Summit, due to be held later this week.
