TEHRAN, Jan. 21 (Press Shia) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said the flag of Iran’s embassies and consulate-generals abroad will be at half-mast on Saturday which is the national day of mourning for the martyred firefighters.

Following the declaration of national day of mourning on Saturday by Government Cabinet over the martyrdom of devoted, self-giving firefighters at Plasco collapse, Ghasemi said Foreign Ministry has ordered all Iranian embassies and consulate-generals abroad to fly the flag at half-mast in honor of firefighters who lost their lives to save others.

Due to the sympathies and condolences offered by the authorities and citizens of many countries, Ghasemi said, a memorial book will open in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s embassies and agencies for the victims of the tragic incident.
