TEHRAN, Jan. 24 (Press Shia Agency) – Lebanese from different walks of life, level, and class visited the Iranian embassy in Beirut to offer their deep condolences over the loss of some Iranian firefighters in Tehran accident of Thursday.
Religious, political, cultural, and media figures of Lebanon, on Tuesday, appeared at Iran’s embassy in Beirut and signing the official book of condolences paid tribute to the Iranian firefighters who lost their lives during a rescue operation in Tehran on Thursday.
In addition to Lebanese figures and officials, some of the foreign diplomats and ambassadors residing in Beirut, including the leaders and members of some Palestinian national and resistance groups, visited the Iranian mission to pay homage to the selfless firefighters of Plasco accident in Tehran.
General Michel Aoun, the President of Lebanon, and Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the parliament of Lebanon, issued official letters of condolences to offer their sympathies over the tragic event of Tehran.
The staff at the mission and those who attended the embassy voiced their sorrow and offered condolences to the people, government, and Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The father of Hezbollah’s legendary commander, Imad Mughniyah, who was assassinated in Damascus in 2008, was among the people who attended the Iranian embassy to offer condolences.
