TEHRAN, Jan. 27 (Press Shia Agency) – With contributions of three Iranian lawmakers at the 19th meeting of the general committee of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union, the final statement and the agenda of the talks were passed on Thursday.

The nineteenth meeting of the general committee of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union was opened on Thursday in Bamako, the capital city of the Republic of Mali. The 19th general committee was held on the sidelines of the 12th General Assembly Meeting of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union (IIPU).

The Head of the Research Center of the Iranian Parliament Kazem Jalali, who is also a member of the executive committee of the IIPU, along with Abdolreza Azizi, Iranian MP from the constituency of Shirvan, and Seyyed Mostafa Zolghadr, Iranian MP from the constituency of Minab, were the Iranian lawmakers present at the meeting.

During the meeting which kicked off after reciting some verses from the holy book of Quran, the agenda of the 12th General Assembly Meeting of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union was discussed and passed by the attendants.

The participants at the meeting also passed the final statement of the 12th General Assembly Meeting of the Union.
