TEHRAN, Jan. 31 (Press Shia Agency) – Two Iranian archers, Armin Raisi and Armin Pakzad, have not yet been handed their visas to attend the indoor Archery World Cup 2017 in Las Vegas city of US in February 10-12.
In an official email to the Archery Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the executive committee for holding the stage three of the indoor Archery World Cup 2017 conveyed its apologies for the problems caused for Iranian archers who were slated to attend the event on February 10.
Armin Raisi and Armin Pakzad were the two Iranian archers who were acheduled to travel to the US to attend the indoor Archery World Cup 2017 in Las Vegas city in February 10-12.
Meanwhile, American media has voiced the concern of many sports officials in the US over the negative effects of Trump’s antagonistic approach. The chances of Los Angeles hosting the 2024 Summer Olympics and of the United States securing soccer’s 2026 World Cup have now got slim.
Patrick Sandusky, a spokesman for the United States Olympic Committee, Richard Peterkin of St. Lucia from International Olympic Committee delegate, Steve Fraser, the chief fund-raiser for USA Wrestling, Christina Kelley, the chief international ambassador for USA Wrestling, and many others have been among those who have voiced their protest against Trump’s decision.
