TEHRAN, Feb. 06 (Press Shia Agency) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi underlined that Iran is honored to host followers of monotheistic and divine faiths.

He made the remarks in a dinner fest of minister of culture and Islamic guidance with followers of divine religions at Ferdowsi Hotel on Sunday.

Congratulating the victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Ghasemi said the cordial gathering indicates that followers of divine religions lead peaceful lives in Iran.

He pointed to the celebrations of the Decade of Fajr and said “we can come together in these days to display the peaceful lives of followers of different faith in the country to the world.”

In these circles, Ghasemi added, we should try to tolerate different opinions and ideas to be a role model for others in the world.
