TEHRAN, Feb. 09 (Press Shia) – Foreign Ministry spokesperson has said US hostility toward Iranians has not subsided, despite the changes in the ruling Establishment.
Mr. Bahram Ghasemi who was officially responding to the White House spokesman’s Wednesday comments on Thursday, said the widespread rallies against the decisions of the new White House tenant had marked the changes in the ruling elite; “despite the changes, it seems that the hostility toward Iran still guides the general line of foreign policy about Iran; the new president has only unveiled the tip of the iceberg of the hostility the US had always displayed toward Iran,” Ghasemi emphasized.
He then said that in the face of the hostility, what had not been changed was Iranian’s strong will in moving in the road to independence and defiance of hegemonic imperialist powers, which he believed would be a strong response to the White House.
“On Wednesday, President Trump may take additional actions against Iran if its leaders continue to flout an international agreement restricting its nuclear program, White House press secretary Sean Spicer warned Tuesday.”
“I think Iran is kidding itself if they don’t realize that there is a new president in town,” Spicer said in his daily briefing,” Washington Examiner reported.
